"Lloyd Nelson Way, 31610 Evergreen road, died suddenly following a heart attack early Monday morning at his residence. He was born in Flushing, Mich., April 16, 1898, and married Frances Meader July 1, 1933, in Richland, Michigan. Mr. Way was a graduate of Flushing High School and of Tri-State University, Angola, Ind. He had lived in Birmingham for the past four years, coming here from Famington, and had been employed by the Mischigan Bell TelePhone Co. as an auditor for the past 16 years. He was a veteran of World War 1 and belonged to the Odd Fellows Lodge of Flushing. Surviving are his wife, Frances; two daughters, Margaret Carroll and Frances Hildegarde of Birmingham; three brothers, Berton L., Stewart G. and Earl W., all of Flushing; and two sisters, Mrs. Pearl Fox of Flushing and Mrs. Samuel Cook of Flint. Funeral services were held at the Manley Bailey funeral home on Wednesday, Dec. 26, at 1:30PM, with the Rev. Harold E. Towne of St. James Episcopal church officiating."^5,4,2 He was buried on 26 December 1945 at Flushing Cemetery, Flushing, MI.⁴
